Introduced heartbeat monitoring and intelligent retry logic to restore connectivity without manual intervention, directly resolving production incidents at multiple client sites.

Extending hardware lifespan through cross-platform design

Designed, extended, and maintained hospital door sign systems deployed across multiple generations of iPads and HatchMed lighting enclosures. Balanced new feature development with long-term hardware compatibility, ensuring consistent behavior across evolving iPadOS versions, device capabilities, and enclosure-controlled lighting systems.
Delivered full-stack enhancements including motion detection, brightness control, and lighting coordination while preserving stability for existing deployments. Reduced screen burn-in and extended iPad hardware lifespan in 24/7 clinical environments.

Raising accessibility standards across patient-facing systems

Led accessibility improvements across multiple applications, raising Lighthouse scores from 67 to 91 through semantic HTML, ARIA patterns, keyboard navigation, and screen reader support. Conducted cross-platform research for Samsung and LG TV accessibility and produced documentation to guide future development and client decisions.
